Betty Levanti, 82, died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, in Frankfort Care Center in West Frankfort.
She was born Sept. 15, 1927, in West Frankfort to John and Rachel Hand Douvan.
Betty was a member of First Christian Church of West Frankfort and member of the Ladies of the Moose in West Frankfort.
She was a beautician for 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Nick Levanti.
Survivors include a daughter, Gaila Dziadus and husband, Denny, of West Frankfort; grandsons, Michael Dziadus and wife, Allison, and Matt Dziadus; and great-granddaughter, Ella Dziadus.
Private graveside services will be held, with Father Trevor Murry officiating.
Public visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today in Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort. Interment will be in Tower Heights Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's School and will be accepted at the funeral home.
